Kentucky Exposition Center and Kentucky International Convention Center Recognized as Top Destinations for Events and Meetings

The event and meeting industry honored both the Kentucky Exposition Center and the Kentucky International Convention Center with numerous prestigious awards this year, recognizing both venues as top destinations for conventions and meetings.

Both the Kentucky Exposition Center and the Kentucky International Convention Center were recognized as Centers of Excellence by Exhibitor Magazine. Small, medium and large convention centers were invited to apply, then evaluated based on the facility, functionality, location, accommodations, service, execution, expansion, upgrades, awards and industry participation.  This was the 2nd consecutive recognition from Exhibitor Magazine awarded to the Kentucky International Convention Center.

The Kentucky International Convention Center won two additional awards, cementing its place as one of the top convention centers in the country. The Stella Awards, which recognizes organizations that consistently deliver quality service and innovation, selected the downtown convention center as their Gold Winner for the Best Convention Center in the Midwest. Additionally, the Kentucky International Convention Center won its second consecutive Reader’s Choice Award from ConventionSouth Magazine.
